Hello, I'm Ruben J Garcia
In 2015, I started working with AWS services and since then I've been learning more and more every day about them working in big companies and startups.
As I've been working with AWS and its services in different companies I realized that I was always doing the same things: creating pipelines that build code from Github, creating Cloudfront distribution to server static webpages, create monitoring rules and integrate them with Slack, use Event buses for communication between different services...
So, I decided to start reutilizing my work from the different companies and improve the new things with the leanings that I got in the other ones. Using the Infrastracture as Code approach this was an easy task. Thanks to that I was able to:
- Save time and focus on what my client needed: building an application and earn money
- Improve the stack thanks to the things I learnt in other projects and deploy them automatically to other clients
- Stick to standards to avoid security problems and lower the overall costs of the platform
Thanks to this work, and sharing my knowledge, in 2022 I was recognized as an AWS Community Builder
